Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are important pieces of documentation that frequently get overlooked. As an evidence technician, you want to know the safety hazards, disposal requirements, medical treatments, etc. for item in your tool kit. This applies to everything from the powders you work with to the protein stains you may use to detect latent blood. I have started to compile a list below of relevant MSDS. This list will continue to expand over time.
